Current Programs

In addition to an on-site internship program, as well as apprenticeship opportunities, the courses listed below include our current list of Council on Occupational Education (COE) accredited programs.

Automotive Collision Repair

(NATEF accredited) - taught by ASE certified instructors, our Auto Collision Repair program teaches both the repair side and painting/refinishing side of the automotive business, offering ASE Student Certifications in Nonstructural Repair, Structural Repair, and with Painting & Refinishing. 

Automotive Service Technology

(NATEF accredited) – taught by ASE certified instructors, our Auto Service Tech program teaches the various skills required by the auto service/maintenance industry, including all 8 specialties offered through ASE-student certifications:  Automatic Transaxle, Brakes, Engine Performance, Engine Repair, Electronics, HVAC, Manual Drive Train, and Steering & Suspension. End of the course certifications are also offered in Auto Service Tech and Maintenance & Light Repair.

Business & Marketing Technology

(Microsoft IT and NRFF accredited) – our Business & Marketing tech program teaches the fundamentals of business fundamentals, including Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.  Additionally, we cover sales and marketing techniques, as well as customer service certifications through the National Retail Federation Foundation and industry-based credentials through Microsoft.

Certified Nursing Assistant

(State Licensure by Office of Long-Term Care) – our nursing program teaches the required curriculum, as mandated by the Office of Long-Term Care, including preparation for the State Licensure exam.

Construction Technology

(NCCER accredited) – taught by NCCER certified instructors, our program offers a wide variety of fields within the Construction Tech field, including Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Painting, and Plumbing.


(State Licensure by State Board of Cosmetology)  - With one of the highest pass rate for State Board Licensure, ACTI students will learn the fundamentals of the Cosmetology field and will complete 1500 hours, as mandated by the State Board of Cosmetology. 

Culinary Arts

(ServSafe and ASHA certified) – Culinary Arts students will learn basic food service, customer and dining room service, food rotation, kitchen safety, along with cooking, baking, and salad-making skills.

Medical Administrative Assistant

(HIPAA & Medical Billing & Coding certified)  - Students in this program are provided a firm foundation for the medical office environment, including medical terminology, medical billing and coding, and a basic knowledge of transcription skills and medical office protocols.

Pharmacy Technician

(Pharmacy Technician Certification) – co-taught by our Pharmacist and Pharmacy Tech Instructor, and following the curriculum as mandated by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, this program will enable students to read prescription orders, enter orders into a computer entry system, learn unit dose packaging, compounding, and sterile IV preparation.


(NCCER certified/AWS member) – As an educational member of the American Welding Society (AWS), ACTI welding students also have the opportunity to earn Welding certifications through NCCER in Core, Welding I and Welding II.  Students will learn a variety of processes, including oxyacetylene cutting, shielded metal arc, TIG, MIG, and plasma cutting.
